O Chester Football Club é um clube de futebol da Inglaterra, da cidade de Chester. Atualmente, disputa a National League North, correspondente à sexta divisão do futebol Inglês.

History

O clube foi fundado em 2010 por um grupo de torcedores, desapontados com a exclusão do Chester City, em decorrência de enormes dificuldades financeiras e várias irregularidades dentro e fora de campo.

Assim como seu antecessor, o "novo" Chester manda seus jogos no Deva Stadium, com capacidade para 5.376 torcedores. O time conseguiu o acesso à 5ª divisão sendo campeão da 6ª, 7ª e 8ª divisões em anos consecutivos. Porém após alguns anos na Quinta Divisão acabou sendo rebaixado ao término da temporada 2017-18.

O Chester Football Club, frequentemente conhecido como Chester FC, é um clube de futebol profissional inglês com sede em Chester, Cheshire, que joga na Liga Nacional do Norte, a sexta divisão do sistema de ligas de futebol na Inglaterra. Fundado em 1885 como Chester Rovers FC, o clube recebeu o nome de Chester em 1907. O Chester passou a maior parte de sua história no terceiro e quarto escalões do futebol inglês, com curtas passagens na terceira e primeira divisões. O clube venceu a FA Trophy em 2001 e foi promovido de volta à Liga de Futebol em 2013-14, tendo sido rebaixado no final da temporada 2017-18.

O Chester joga seus jogos em casa no Deva Stadium, com capacidade para 6.500 pessoas. O clube tem uma longa rivalidade com o Wrexham AFC, com quem disputa o dérbi de Cross-Border. O Chester também tem rivalidades com o Tranmere Rovers, o Shrewsbury Town e o Crewe Alexandra.

O Chester Football Club é um clube de propriedade dos torcedores, com a Chester FC Community Trust assumindo o controle do clube em 2020. O clube tem uma base de torcedores apaixonada, com uma média de público de mais de 2.000 torcedores em seus jogos em casa.
