SSC-R Golden Stags

The San Sebastian Golden Stags (also known as SSC-R Stags) are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball team of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Their 5 consecutive NCAA seniors basketball championships was the longest streak in the NCAA.

The other senior varsity teams may also be referred to as the Stags. The juniors team are the San Sebastian Staglets, while the women's team are the San Sebastian Lady Stags.

O SSC-R Golden Stags é uma equipe filipina de basquetebol universitário que representa a San Sebastian College – Recoletos (SSC-R) na University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

A equipe foi fundada em 1949 e é uma das equipes mais bem-sucedidas da UAAP, tendo conquistado 13 campeonatos. O Golden Stags também é conhecido por seus jogadores talentosos, muitos dos quais jogaram na National Basketball Association (NBA), como _Bobby Parks_, _Hector Calma_, _Paul Alvarez_ e _Benjie Paras_.

Atualmente, o Golden Stags é treinado por _Bai Cristobal_ e seus principais jogadores são _Allyn Bulanadi_, _RJ Tubino_ e _Ken Tuffin_. A equipe tem um estilo de jogo rápido e atlético, e é conhecida por sua defesa forte e seu ataque de média distância.

O Golden Stags é uma das equipes mais populares da UAAP, e seus jogos costumam atrair grandes multidões. A equipe também tem uma grande base de fãs nas Filipinas e no exterior.
