O Thanh Hoa Sub19 é um dos clubes mais tradicionais do Vietname, tendo conquistado o Campeonato Vietnamita em 4 oportunidades, nas temporadas de 1985, 1996, 1998 e 2000. O clube também conquistou a Copa do Vietname em 3 oportunidades, nas temporadas de 1998, 2000 e 2006.
O Thanh Hoa Sub19 é conhecido por sua forte base de torcedores, que lotou o Estádio Thanh Hoa em muitas ocasiões. O clube também é conhecido por sua rivalidade com o Hanoi T&T, o outro grande clube da cidade de Hanói.
O Thanh Hoa Sub19 é um clube em ascensão, e espera-se que ele retorne à V-League 1 em breve. O clube tem um elenco jovem e talentoso, e espera-se que ele seja um dos protagonistas da V-League 2 nesta temporada.
